As If We Needed Another Reason To Recall This Guy

Walker signs wolf kill bill in ceremony.

“The wolf hunting bill is designed to calm the worries of farmers, landowners and hunters who believe that wolves are taking a toll on the deer population. Advocates have questioned, however, whether it’s too early to bring back hunting of wolves, which has not happened since they were wiped off the landscape more than 50 years ago.”

“The swelling wolf population has created a hardship for many farmers and homeowners. The DNR is ready to put the rules in place that will allow them to reduce the herd to a healthy, sustainable level,” Walker said in a statement.”

This guy has shown time and time again that he hates the environment and the animals that inhabit it. From the wetland destruction bill that he signed to the failed mining bill it is no secret where his loyalty lies. If you are a Wisconsin resident please vote in the upcoming recall election and remember which lawmakers voted for this wolf kill bill next time they are up for reelection. Also remember that Wisconsin is the only state in the country that now allows wolves to be hunted with dogs, and at night. We have all seem those horrible pictures from Idaho by now:

This is what is coming to Wisconsin but even worse. Wisconsin has basically legalized dog fighting. Remember according to Wisconsin law :

It is illegal to:

• allow a dog to kill any wild animal at any time.

It is illegal to:

• not immediately kill, in a humane manner, all game taken and make it part of your daily bag.

After the wolf killing season starts in October if anyone comes across photos or videos showing dogs killing a wolf, or dogs allowed to attack a wolf while the person videotapes it, make sure to report it to the authorities. If they refuse to take any action we will see what these agencies are all about and call them on it. It is shameful what Wisconsin is allowing and the backlash will be swift and severe. WE VOW asks that you do not let this issue die.

Walker is such a troll. Who do you think gave Walker his talking points during the ceremony? George Meyer or Scott bear hunters bit^& Suder…
Gee whizz- those 80 depredations must be “puttin” those ranchers out of business. Hey wait- they get reimbursed for those losses……

I still cannot figure out how George Meyer’s group is considered an affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation. I see nothing on the NWF site that is even remotely related to the kill it all mindset of Meyer and his goons. We need to keep on the NWF and find out why they would align themselves with the likes of this guy. As for the supposed depredations, as you know that is just another excuse that these thugs are using to persecute the wolves. And they act like the fact that wolves kill hunting dogs is supposed to outrage us. When this fool is recalled we need to work to overturn the bills like these that are harmful for our environment. If the recall fails then we are looking at Wississippi getting worse. Look how arrogant Walker and his goons are now, imagine if he wins the recall.

Walker and his goons are in bed with ALEC http://www.alec.org/ and their anti-enviornment and anti-union policies. Here is this groups motto: “Limited Government · Free Markets · Federalism” I guess that the “Limited Government” part only applies to liberals though because they sure have no problem making laws and having government intrude in our lives when it comes to women’s rights, and destroying the environment.

I have been following these stories internationally and am appalled by the brutality of supposedly civilised men. The calibre of a man (and of a society) is judged on his humanity to others more vulnerable. This torture is being done in the name of ‘sport’ and is being justified by those hunters in the name of local culture and history. The reality however, is that this is a barbaric and inhumane action that glorifies extreme torture and suffering on the wolf’s part for psychopathic pleasure. A sad reflection on the individual and society in the eyes of the rest of the world. It is one thing to hunt and kill cleanly with one shot, it is another to sadistically and intentionally trap, torture and prolong death and then glorify in it as shown in the recent photo’s circulating around the world in the various social media. There are far more effective non-lethal preventative control measures that can be used to prevent livestock predation. Local USA research supports that wolves contribute to <1% of stock losses yet wolves are blamed for all. For centuries Livestock Guardian Breed Dogs (LGD’s – Maremma’s, Great Pyrenees, Anatolians) have been used in Europe to protect stock from wolves and other predators very successfully. These breeds are already being used successfully in the USA and in Australia. In Africa they also use LGDs for Cheetah conversation to protect the cattle from attacks. We are using them in Australia for conservation of endangered Little Penguins and sea birds from predation by feral wild dogs and foxes. Prevention and deterrence is so much more effective than extermination of a species and the environmental and ecological damage done with removal of top predators. Elk, deer and Moose numbers should be allowed to be controlled naturally by the wolves and not by automatic right by the hunters. Hunting is not a life necessity but a barbaric blood sport that is allowed to continue because of the political power of these groups. The Yellowstone Wolf Project has demonstrated how effective the biodiversity and restoration of fragile ecosystems can occur with re-emergence of different animal species, insects and flora that had been destroyed and lost due to overgrazing and over population of Elk etc. America's woeful economy is supported by a healthy $35M ecotourism annually because people and tourists want to see wolves in Yellowstone. Not only is this good for the economy, it also supports the local area businesses with increased tourism. As a regular international traveller I will now vote with my wallet and feet and choose not to visit the USA and will advocate that to all that share the same views in the international community for the shame of this.

Thank you so much for your post. I always wondered what the view of America is by those internationally such as yourself. I am ashamed that as a country which is supposedly the “leader of the free world” that we allow barbaric behavior like this to occur. The reality is that these ranchers really do not care about protecting their livestock as they claim. They are in bed with the hunter/trapper groups and really are cut from the same cloth. These so called “sportsmen” want to kill the wolves and other predators because they do not want any competition for that “big buck.” Any other excuse that they give for wanting to “manage” the wolf population is a bunch of crap. It is all about control and the sheer desire for blood that drives these sadists. Please be assured that all of us Americans are not like these slobs but I agree that there are far too many of them.
