My wife and I are going to be taking a couple of days off to go hiking in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We chose to go to the U.P. because Michigan is the only state of the three in the upper Great Lakes that didn’t break their neck to get into wholesale wolf killing. I hope that others take this into account if they are planning vacations to Wisconsin or Minnesota. Neither one will get a dime of my tourism money, and I hope others do the same. Before we go, I wanted to share a happy wildlife story for these dark times:
There are indeed some caring people out there. I thank them for their compassion. Hopefully it is contagious.
