Wisconsin Courts Send a Message To Right-Wing Extremists

14 Sep

Optimism. That is a word that that hasn’t come across my tongue much over the past year and a half. However  optimism is exactly what I feel today after two separate rulings from Dane County judges. The first ruling came when Dane County Circuit Court Judge Peter Anderson shot down the DNR’s misguided attempt to have the wolf hounding lawsuit thrown out. This is sure to elicit more whining from George Meyer, Rep. Scott Suder (R-ALEC), Bob Welch, and other bear hounder shills. I just just hear the cries about how a “liberal Dane County judge” is stepping all over their hound huntin’ traditions. It is about time someone has the courage to stand up to these sadists. They have been hiding for far too long behind misguided “animal cruelty exemptions” that they use to justify their brutal acts. I wonder how, after getting their way for so long, the sadists feel to finally be challenged? The DNR should be ashamed of themselves for continuing to try and justify this insanity.

The next little bit of news, while not wildlife related, comes as welcome news for those who oppose the extremist agenda that Gov. Scott Walker (R-Koch Industries) and fellow bought and paid for right wingers forced down our throats. Today, Dane County Circuit Court Judge Juan B. Colas struck down Walker’s anti-public worker bill, Act 10. While it is likely that this bill will again be rubber-stamped by the WMC paid for state Supreme Court, it serves notice that those with common sense are beginning to wake up in Wisconsin.

These two ruling are what happens when you overreach and spit in the face of your citizens. The right-wing wing crybabies can whine and stomp their feet about “liberal Dane County judges” all that they want. Last time I checked Dane County was a major population center in the state of Wisconsin and their citizens pay just as much in taxes (probably more) than the rest of the state. We should all thank these two courageous judges for standing up to the special interests who have bought and paid for our politicians.

It’s about time. Both wolves and teachers have been wrongly convicted as scapegoats of this country’s ills. Same for womens’ health rights. rali- the Chippewas’ plan to kill an elk is most interesting. It’s OK to shoot their wolves but OMG to take an elk- Yikes! All the elk fans are upset that one will be shot or whatever. What about the year when they have a season and sell tags? Then what will the elk tourists do? Now they know how we wolf advocates feel. Will be at Bob Fest. Hope to see you.

It is predictable how the Walker Administration called this a “liberal” “activist” judge acting out against the will of the people. This is all about right wing extremism- period. Whenever someone questions the motivation an ideologue is quick to blame this on the other party’s liberalism. These right wingers are LOONS. I’m afraid by not recalling Walker he felt more empowered to do what he is doing.

I don’t even want to give these clowns the time of day. You know what this guy and his kind are hinting at when they say that they want to “take America back?” They want to take us back to the 1800’s where the idea of having a black man in office was unthinkable. It’s funny how people like this guy call us “anti-American” because we use our freedom of speech to espouse a completely different view than they have. I just don’t understand why people like this clown come to a website to insult and threaten those with different beliefs. There are plenty of other sites out there for right wing nut jobs to spread their anti-gay, anti-woman, anti-minority, anti-wilflife garbage. They just cannot accept that America is becoming more than the lily white world that they are used to. That is why I will not approve comments from these people. If anyone wants to know what we are talking about this is what our new troll “Robert” attempted to post today:

“You are so full of liberal shit it is hard to imagine.

We will take back the country from the liberal ant-American slime come November by any means necessary. Anyone with (D) is fair game.”

That sounds like a threat to me. What do you guys think? Think maybe the feds might just want to add this guy to their database, if he isn’t already there?

Any bets this guy can’t even give the definition of “liberal” if asked? From

      lib·er·al   [lib-er-uhl, lib-ruhl]

favorable to progress or reform, as in political or religious affairs.
( often initial capital letter ) noting or pertaining to a political party advocating measures of progressive political reform.
of, pertaining to, based on, or advocating liberalism.
favorable to or in accord with concepts of maximum individual freedom possible, especially as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection of civil liberties.
favoring or permitting freedom of action, especially with respect to matters of personal belief or expression: a liberal policy toward dissident artists and writers.

Pay close attention to number four. Isn’t that what right wingers are always mouthing off about?

Personally, I pay attention to number 5 (artists and writers). I wasn’t going to comment initially because of the flagrant sign there, which seems a bit much for my taste. But after reading all of these comments, I’m definitely on the same page as everyone here. Keep on keeping on.

I agree. I removed the picture. I cannot stand that guy and the sign made me laugh hysterically, but it was a bit much.
