**BREAKING NEWS** No Dogs Allowed for Wolf Killing Season

26 Sep

**UPDATE** Please see this post to explain what really happened here. The one no vote was actually the REAL courageous vote. The DNR and NRB are in collusion about this and think that there should be NO rules regarding the legalized dog fighting. Disgusting.

In a surprise move the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board voted 6 to 1 not to draft “emergency rules” that would allow dogs to be pitted against wolves for the upcoming killing season. Gee, I wonder if the outfitter and SCI shill was the one who voted for allowing hounding? Any bets? Excellent decision by the NRB not to give in to the bear hounders and their supporters in the DNR. If only they would have take this stand a couple of month ago.

NRB says no dog rules for wolf hunt

Excellent. Now what. We need the whole hunt called off. Go to Howling for Justice for Wedge Pack news. Horrible. Boycott beef and Washington apples. Better yet call Gov. Christine Gregorine 306 902 4111 to halt rest of the kill.

Good news. These people that hunt with hounds are not embarrassed. We need to find out if SCI shill KAZ was the one vote

Yesterday’s “victory” may not be a victory after all. It is a political ploy which I certainly hope the Judge will see through. DNR’s is taking the postion that the judge wants a demonstration that NRB at least considered alternatives. . So DNR lawyers will document that at the Natural Resource Board meeting the NRB considered alternatives but rejected all. Jane Wiley voted yes. The article in the Wisconsin State journal yesterday explains DNR’s position.

I don’t doubt that for a second, but Judge Anderson seems quite wise enough to see through the DNR’s BS and manipulation. There needs to be a permanent injunction put in place no matter what fluffy rules the DNR come up with. Animal fighting has no place in a supposedly civilized society. These rural sadists keep playing the “tradition” card each and every time that they want to justify abhorrent behavior. Enough is enough. Hounding is shameful and this lawsuit should be the first step in banning it completely across the country. These sadists know damn well that it is nothing more than legalized animal fighting. Let them keep preaching their garbage. They are turning more and more people against not only hounding but hunting in general. It is also time to call out the corrupt DNR and the NRB for only representing a small portion of the citizens in Wisconsin. It is time to demand that the DNR be funded through general funds and have EQUAL representation rather than being just an auxiliary for George Meyer and other kill everything extremists. The “good old boy” network overreached big time with this wolf kill bill and I think that they highly underestimated the passions that it would invoke. The state has been waging a shadow war on bears and other predators for many years by allowing the most barbaric tools imaginable, ,like hounding and trapping, and most of the public had no clue. The wolf kill bill brought their methods and motives to light and now more and more citizens of this state are disgusted at what they are finding out. As horrifying as this insane bill is, it may be the best thing to ever happen for living wildlife advocates because now the general public can see that we were not overreacting to what is really going on in this state. there really is a “War on Wildlife” They can see for themselves who the DNR and people like Scott Suder really work for, and it sure as hell isn’t the general public. We need to not only maintain the pressure that we are putting on the state, but need to increase it.
