Let’s Focus on the REAL Wolf Torture

25 Oct

Now that I have let myself get sidetracked by the insanity of the hoax in the previous post, I was heartened by one thing: they know that we are watching. Here are the responses that we received from the DNR regarding the hoax and one line in particular sticks out. See if you can spot it.

Several DNR wildlife experts have looked at this post. This animal does not appear to be caught in any kind of trap. It seems to be chewing on a bone. To the best of our knowledge, there is no such thing as a Wolf-B-Gone animal trap. Our records show no one with the name of Adam Kind has been granted wolf license authority in Wisconsin. The image quality appears too high to have been taken by a trail camera as stated. In our judgment, this post does not reflect reality. We will continue to investigate these claims, but at this point there is no evidence they are valid. The only two legal methods for trapping wolves in Wisconsin are a foothold trap, which by law must be a trap designed to catch an animal by the foot, and cable restraints, which capture the animal around the neck and hold the animal like a collar and leash.  Cable restraints are not legal until December 1.
So according to the DNR cable restraints hold the animal like a collar and leash? Really? Do you know of any collars and leashes that do this and are not considered animal cruelty? If this were a dog this would be considered animal cruelty, but with wildlife it is perfectly acceptable. And the DNR is full of it if they claim to never have heard of the “Wolf-B-Gone torture device. The anti-wolf sadists and poachers have been posting their diagram for this thing all over the internet for years.
See how the DNR tries to fluff up killing? To compare devices that could choke animals to death to a “leash and collar” shows how they try to minimize animal torture to the general public. Remember this isn’t killing it is “harvesting” according to the DNR. Collar and leash? Sure. Why not mention what happens after the wolf is caught and the sadist shows up a day or two later? A shot to the lungs? Bashing the head in? Suffocating?
Keep fighting these sadists at every turn and keep sharing the pictures they post of their torture. They cannot help themselves and will continue to post their sadistic photos. We need to make sure the whole world sees them.

Cable restraints are not snares, they do not choke animals – they have a stop on the cable that prevents the loop from closing far enough to injure the animal. They have been used for wolf research trapping for years, where the animal is captured, collared, and released. The photos show wolves that have been caught in snares, which are not legal in Wisconsin unless they are set underwater.

I think I should get a hunting hound today and take it for a walk on the state capitol lawn using a snare. How long do you think it would take for me to be arrested for animal cruelty? 1 min?
