Patricia Randolph’s Madravenspeak: DNR cruelty-to-bears season begins again on our lands

Coming this weekend a column about the potentially massive “pay to play” scandal involving outgoing Assembly Majority Leader Rep. Scott Suder (R-ALEC), the bear hounders, and a large number of the anti-wolf/wildlife killing cartels in Wisconsin. Here is the background to that story:

we live in a sick society where people enjoy killing,..no regard for life. when did hunting stop being about food gathering? Rome fell, but before it do so, people sadistically inflicted pain and suffering on people and animals…it is a sick mind which enjoys this activity. pitiful!

I’ve been around black bear all of my life, taking literally tens of thousands of images of them at various times of their lives. Normally as I image these wonderful creatures, I am no more then a few yards distant from them, including sows and their cubs. To be perfectly honest, I have been profoundly affected by my years of interacting with these virtually sentient beings. I’ve seen sows joyeously hoist up a cub and love them in a pose not at all unfamiliar, I have observed the spectacular swiftness in which cubs respond to both their mothers spoken, and unspoken commands with almost military precision….

We waste billions chasing after other life in our universe, while willfully, and arrogantly refusing to open our eyes and behold the other intelligent life right before us, What a crime against God!
