Please sign and share this Humane Society petition (link above) to Secretary Stepp against the wolf “QUOTA” and the ignorance and cruelty of the now annual wolf slaughter using mostly traps in combination with crossbows, guns and any torture they want to enjoy. This is an obscenity that will go down in history as a legacy of Wisconsin and our citizen apathy and neglect.
It is a dark and barbaric time in the state of Wisconsin as wildlife suffer and are serially killed in massive and expanding yearly “seasons”. Wolves are as essential to healthy ecosystems as healthy water and air. We are destroying those too.
So please make the effort to add a comment and email this to your contact list, especially Wisconsin residents and send it out to your social networking sites.
Wolves cannot howl for themselves – or if they do, they are killed for it.
Thank you.

Hello Patricia. Any more thought to forming our own WCC type group ? I and others I know have had similar thoughts. One very major point that we all agree on is that many egos would have to be left at the door if we were able to meld a strong, cohesive body to effectively take on those Cro Mags It would need to be a consolidation of the many enviro groups in our state. Not to malign others, but I witness some of them who I think are in it for the attention they gain. It is difficult to win at anything when the team is not on the same page. Just some thoughts and I would be very interested to hear yours on the topic.
Sincerely, Randy O’Connell

Unless I’m misunderstanding the text of the petition, it’s not asking Stepp to go against the wolf quota. It’s asking her to support the quota of 156 wolves.
