Wolf Haters, Homophobes, Racists, and “Freedom of Speech”

When news broke over the past couple of days about the homophobic comments from one of the bearded fake “sportsmen” of A&E Network’s Duck Dynasty the hateful, racist, homophobic, and anti-wolf internet sites went crazy with support for his disgusting comments. This is what the bearded, animal exploiting, redneck “hero,” Phil Robertson, had to say:

“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

It gets even worse:

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” he says. Then he paraphrases Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

Even more astounding is that in the world of “The Beard” racism didn’t exist “pre-entitlement” and “pre-welfare.”

“I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I’m with the blacks, because we’re white trash. We’re going across the field…. They’re singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, ‘I tell you what: These doggone white people’—not a word!… pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.”

This man is a “hero” among many on the right wing in America. That says it all. Among those that jumped to the defense of “The Beard” were those at the anti-wolf Facebook page, “Wisconsin Wolf Hunting.” Among all of the exploitative pictures of trapped, shot, hounded wolves, and a picture of a truck with dead coyotes “stacked like cord wood” there are posts supporting “The Beard’ and bemoaning him being “persecuted” for his “free speech” and for ” for being a Christian.”

The person that runs the anti-wolf hate site and is always flaunting that he bans those that disagree with his sick and twisted posts with his “ban hammer,” is whining about ‘The Beard” having his “Freedom of Speech” rights violated.

Wisconsin Wolf Hunting: The only bigotry in this thread is by some people who only want freedom of speech when it suits their agenda . Oh that is spelled Bigot , not biggot.

Funny that is exactly what this person practices every day when he uses his “ban hammer” on pro-wolf people. This is what drives me nuts about hypocrites like this. They go and quote the Constitution and are too self important to understand what it really means. Freedom of Speech under the Constitution applies to GOVERNMENT limitations on it. The government is nowhere in this thing. The Beard made his homophobic comments to a privately owned magazine and A&E, a PRIVATELY owned company, suspended him from his sadistic exploitation show. Just like they cancelled that mulleted freak and convicted murderer, “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” when he made racist comments a few years back. A&E is a PRIVATELY OWNED company that is part of the whole corporate world that these right wing “bloggers” get their propaganda from and now they complain about them. Ironic, isn’t it?

Wisconsin Wolf Hunting: Our current American society: “you have to let everyone express their beliefs and respect them. unless they’re a Christian.” True Story!!!!!!!!!

Really? He can express his views anywhere and any time he wants. But every action has a reaction. I am so tired of this “persecution” complex by people like this guy. If you say something stupid you WILL get called out on it no matter what religion or whatever you are. Does this guy take “Freedom of Speech” and differing opinions from pro-wolf people into account when he uses his “ban hammer?” Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion apparently only apply if you agree with them or are a Christian on the Wisconsin Wolf Hunting site. Just ask anyone that posted pro-wolf comments on that site. The GOVERNMENT cannot limit or block your freedom of speech in public or private, but PRIVATE entities like Facebook, WordPress, and A&E networks CAN and DO have the ability to hold people responsible for hateful, bigoted, and reckless comments. I do and will continue to block hateful, bigoted, racist, and anti-wildlife comments on MY blog because I, just like A&E Networks, are NOT the government. But you don’t see me throwing up the “Freedom of Speech” banner when my comments or views are criticized or deleted.

A&E is just as guilty here. You create a show that caters to the lowest common denominator in our society and what kind of people do you think it will attract? The Beard is a “hero” to these people just as draft-dodger/poacher Ted Nugent is. Good riddance to bad trash and I hope that wolf hate pages go along with it. Maybe A&E and their other exploitation channels will rid themselves of their hate filled wildlife snuff programming as well. I am not holding my breath.

The funniest comment of this whole situation is below. (Warning: Graphic Language)

DNR Denial and More Hate….I Mean “Humor” From the Blood Sport Capital of the United States

**For the anti-wolf people attempting to comment here: DON’T BOTHER. We have heard all of the “they are eating all the deer,” “they are killing bear dogs,” “eating grandchildren,” and all of the other propaganda and misleading information time and time again. You don’t care about the “livestock” when a bolt gets shot into their head and their throats are slit, so why get a high and mighty when a wolf kills one that the rancher gets reimbursed for. You don’t care about your dogs when they are running rampant through the woods terrorizing bears, coyotes, and other wildlife so don’t pretend you care when a wolf kills one trespassing in their territory. I am sure that you are crying all the way to the bank with your nice fat $2500 check while you just grab another dog from your backyard puppy mill. None of your talking points and anti-wolf rhetoric is going to change my mind or any other wildlife advocate’s mind. Another thing. Don’t assume that everyone who cares about wolves do not live around them. And being offended by us insulting the DNR and the qualifications of Cathy Stepp? Really? Finally, wolves were not “reintroduced” into Wisconsin. They migrated from the last remaining population after lower 48 eradication in Minnesota. Save your propaganda comments for the wolf hate page that sent you here because they sure are not going to be approved for posting here**

A couple of months ago real estate developer and high school graduate turned Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Secretary, Cathy Stepp, was reported to have told a gathering at a public meeting that “there are no anti-wolf people or groups in Wisconsin.” Well Cathy, as the old saying goes “de Nile is a river in Egypt.”

What do Egypt and Wisconsin have in common? That’s easy. Wisconsin and post-Mubarak Egypt are both state sponsors of terrorism. Ha! Ha! Ha! Apparently the “Knotsies” that run the hate “humor” filled “Wisconsin Wolf Hunting Facebook page are “offended” at the linkage to “Muslim terrorism,” because we all know that their glorification of poaching, laughing about “air strikes” against wolves, commenters calling wildlife advocates “timber niggers,” and threatening rape are not intended to intimidate wildlife advocates or make a political statements just as terrorists would. It is all for a good belly laugh. I am sure that they will also be “offended” at my stab at humor above. It takes a special kind of person to find humor in rape, racism, and death threats against Wisconsin mine opponents. I guess I don’t fit that mold.

I thought long and hard about whether or not my characterization of wolf killing sadists “comedians” as equal to terrorists was really an apt comparison. I was pissed that day about what I was reading on that hate page and thought maybe I over-reacted and jumped into the world of hyperbole as they tend to do. Today, I gave up any self doubt when I saw this picture that supposedly emanated from Wyoming and has been lauded on Facebook by several of the Wisconsin wolf killing sadists “comedians.”

Remind you of anything from America's dark chapters?

Remind you of anything from America’s dark chapters?

What does this look like to you? After viewing this image I have no regrets about equating terrorism and wolf haters “comedians.” Who are they trying to emulate? The Klan? Al Qaeda? Replace the dead wolf with the scalp of a Native American, the body of a lynched black man, or the severed head of a kidnapping victim. It is all a sick political “comedy” statement. Whatever it is they are certainly holding up the wrong flag. I served this country to defend that flag they are holding not the ideals that these cretins “comedians” represent. These people often claim they are “patriots” that are saving the country from the black guy in the White House and his “socialism.” Of course those anti-Federal “gubmint” patriots types in Wyoming neglect to mention that they leach far more federal money tax money than they pay in, and the black guy in the White House hates wolves as much as they do. Why let facts get in the way of some good ol’ American hate “humor?”

Also today, the wolf hating “laughing” page decided to take a stab at me and a few other wildlife advocates with insults that they labeled as humor:

Humor of the day . Everyone say hi and wave to the Wolf lover nut jobs that continue to visit here daily and cry about legal Wisconsin hunting on facebook. Hi Melissa, Hi Paul, Hi Cathy and Alice!

Photo: Humor of the day . Everyone say hi and wave to the Wolf lover nut jobs that continue to visit here daily and cry about legal Wisconsin hunting on facebook. Hi Melissa, Hi Paul, Hi Cathy and Alice!
Nothing says funny like dead animals and insults. The “humor” doesn’t end there:
Tyler Tanner This is fuckin great..kill em by the dozen

Wisconsin Wolf Hunting ^He’s talking about the wolves Paul. We understand you’re a little slow and a little sissy like sensitive about this subject Not to mention having the reading comprehension and grammar skills of a 5th grader on your blog.

I suppose you are jealous that my “5th grade education” seems like doctorate level for the sadists “comedians” that comment on your hate “humor” page. It says plenty that you find humor in poaching, death, and anti-government propaganda. If not getting off on killing animals and death threats make me a “sissy” then so be it. Do you find humor in the rape threats and “timber nigger” comments your commenters make as well? Here are some more comments from the graduate students that post to that hate “humor” site:

George Busse Them idiots should have there own country or state or septic tank. Whatever can hold them all. Facebook only gave them something to live for. A place to express there opinion where they wouldn’t have to kill any trees writing it down. Don’t worry, soon they will die, there are only so many plants to go around, I will die after, animals can live without food longer. I eat animals. In case you didn’t know…… Here’s your sign. Fuck off you tree hugging, anorexic, no meat eating Fuck head!!! Yeah I said it!

Wow! National Honors Society level on that last comment. Thems some deep words. They like to label all wildlife advocates as being the same but freak out when we label them for what they are. I can play that game too. Look at the leering snuff photos all over that site. They all look the same. Short white guy. Fat white guy. Ugly white woman. Fat white kid. Bushy faced white guy. Notice the pattern? They all dress the same as well. It is like “Children of the GMO Corn” on that site. What a knee slapper I am!

My “humor” level has peaked for the day so I will share a couple more comments from the Mensa candidates that post on the hate “humor” site:

Garrett Shaw Gut shot everyone before you kill one!!!!

Dan Morris I hunt near superior we have no deer , bone piles and lots of timber wolf tracks bigger Than my hand we had a great heard in July till the wolfs moved in

Dan Morris The wolf’s were brought in by the paper mills to protect the damn poplar trees in the first place. When I was young in the 50-60s we never had wolf’s except in the UP and Canada.

Who woulda thunk? It was the paper mills all along that conspired to bring the “wolf’s” back to Wisconsin. You learn sumthin’ new every day……..

Wildlife advocates, make sure you forward this post to DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp so she can see that indeed there are anti-wolf groups and and anti-wolf people in Wisconsin. Of course I am sure that the Wisconsin Wolf Hunting page will “Knot” know what I am talking about and claim that it is just “satire” and “humor.”

From the Blood Sport Capital of the United States this “sissy,” is signing off to go hug some California trees, eat some organic granola, and hug some “wolf’s.”

How Would You Respond to This?

Wolf Tracks

Upon waking up this morning I was confronted with this comment requesting approval for this site:

Jamie Vee commented on Well that was Fast…..More Threats and Hate from Anti-Wolf Facebook Site

Too late on the work place calls and emails. Some of your members must have missed your request to refrain from those efforts. It seems that this world hasn’t enough middle ground. I’m trying to work with the WWH page to get people to understand that there can be middle ground. Unlike some members, I don’t hate wolves. I don’t want to kill them all. I don’t hate anti-hunters either. I learned a few things last year and am hoping to pass some of that on to other hunters and trappers, and maybe even anti hunters.

PS, I’ve already been investigated by the DNR this year. That’s fine. I don’t mind being checked out. But, if your members are going to have me investigated, have them pursue without putting together false stories or photos.

I’m not quite sure how I should respond to this, but actions do speak louder than words. By Mr. Vee continuing to post grinning pictures of himself and family members with dead wolves and coyotes on that disgusting hate page, I am dubious about his comments. Mr. Vee and other wolf killers seem to not understand that the wolf has a cultural significance among Native American tribes, and a special place in the hearts of millions of people worldwide. Each wolf killed and each grinning picture posted to that disgusting site is just another slap in the face to Native Americans and those that worked decades to bring this animal back from the eradication caused by the previous generations of wolf haters. They claim that this is “management,” when in reality it is a revenge/witch hunt as their own comments allude to. Did I mention bullying as well?

  • Branden Boe Smoke a pack a day:)
  • Wisconsin Wolf Hunting Hippie tears are yummy
Clint Worden I get a kick out of how these anti-hunters think we’re uneducated red-necks. All they have to go on is they’re emotions, no facts, no biology, just emotion. If they really loved wolves they should have pushed NOT to bring them back to areas where they would clash with humans. Wolves just don’t belong in northern WI. anymore.
    • Wisconsin Wolf Hunting That is their biggest weakness besides being emotional filled cry babies. They really think we’re all uneducated rednecks. It’s actually fun to watch because they really have no clue how big of fools they make themselves look by coming here.

Wisconsin Wolf Hunting

Dear anti-wolf hunt nutjobs coming to our page today. Check this out. BANG BANG BANG! They are still all dead.
Photo: Dear anti-wolf hunt nutjobs coming to our page today. Check this out. BANG BANG BANG! They are still all dead.

Yup! More of that “respect” and “tolerance.” Remember when Kathy Stepp said with a straight face that “there are no wolf haters in Wisconsin?”

Mr. Vee claims that “members” of this group have contacted his wife’s place of employment against my warnings against such behavior. This is true and I certainly disapprove of this. I will reiterate that unless you are a direct customer of this business there is no reason to contact them. The wolf killing behavior did not happen on company time or have anything to do with that business so STOP contacting them. I do know of two women that were customers of this business and after 17 years they stopped patronizing this vet clinic because of the gleeful wolf killing behavior or Mrs. Vee. Frankly if my vet office employed people that take obvious glee in killing animals, especially wolves, I would not patronize them either. However, that is the only justifiable reason for contacting this business and ONLY if you are a customer or soon to be former customer.

If Mr. Vee truly wants to find some “middle ground” with wildlife advocates then stop posting the snuff pics on that disgusting hate page. I highly doubt that those running that page and those posting there care anything about “middle ground.” In fact here is what was posted on that site just a couple of hours ago:

Quick, call in an air strike!
Photo: Quick, call in an air strike!
Obviously more of that “respect” and “tolerance” from the chickenhawk “Call of Duty veterans.”
Mr. Vee if you really want to make a difference and find “middle ground” condemn this disgusting kind of talk. Better yet condemn the death threats made against wildlife advocates emanating from that page. How about condemning the threats of rape against female wildlife advocates that come from posters on that page? How about condemning the non-stop advocating of poaching and “kill ’em all” garbage coming from that site? How about condemning the comments frequent WWH commenter “JB Brown” messaged to Melissa Smith yesterday calling her a “timber nigger?” How about condemning the vile slime that left a dead and gutted coyote on the hood of a wildlife advocate’s vehicle earlier this year? The threats of poisoning another wildlife advocate’s dogs? The threats go on and on and that page is the root of ALL of them. You see why wildlife advocates are pissed?

Mr. Vee, condemn the vile, disgusting hate filled comments, and death threats on that page and maybe we can talk about a common middle ground.

For everyone else that reads this page and is thinking about contacting the employer of a wolf killer or their family: DON’T DO IT. If you do business with one of these places, stop being a customer and tell them why. If you are not a customer back off. If you cannot heed these simple warnings do not expect to get any sympathy or support from myself or this group.

Well that was Fast…..More Threats and Hate from Anti-Wolf Facebook Site

This was posted by the anti-wolf hate site a couple of hours ago. All threats have been reported to the authorities and they have assured us there will be an investigation into those making the threats and their enablers that run the site. Those investigating believe that this site is run by the same people that made death threats against anti-mine protestors a couple of months ago. I am not sure of that. We were also informed that death threats originating from across state lines fall under Federal jurisdiction. This is the latest round of hate from that disgusting page:

Wisconsin Wolf Hunting shared a link.

Check out this blog posts from the anti-wolf thugs about one of our posts this morning. I sense alot of anger and butthurt in this blog. We happen to know they’re leaving out a few facts they do not want to discuss. You know, like trying to contacting someone’s wives employer trying to get her fired. Yeah I am sure they do not want to talk about that thuggish behavior of theirs.

Anti-wolf thugs? How did WE become “anti-wolf?” Isn’t that what that hate page is all about? They go on to criticize MY grammar apparently not realizing that it is “a lot” and not alot. Considering their fast response it appears that they are the ones “butthurt.” If they are not doing anything wrong why feel the need to respond so hatefully? I nor any of our associates contacted a wolf killer wife’s employer. I do not and will not encourage this behavior. There is no place for that. It ONLY becomes an issue when it is done while on the clock for that employer. I will shame wolf haters that post hate in a public forum and that is it. I will also bring to light death threats against wildlife advocates. Will the Wisconsin Wolf Hunting page condemn the death threats against Melissa Smith and other wildlife advocates? I doubt it. Does that mean all of the actions of the wolf hating readers on that site are Wisconsin Wolf Hunting’s responsibility?
Here we have the first death threat:

Scot Hartline: It’s a shame that there isn’t a season on people like them! Obviously their numbers are too high! Proper game management, specifically of apex predators, is crucial for the survival of all other game and domestic animals. This is not rocket science.

This has been reported to the proper authorities. Oh the irony. This is what Mr. Hartline posted on his Facebook page:

Scot Hartline shared a link.

October 17 · Edited

“Bullying is a very serious problem and therebhas got to be accountability somewhere…I’m not sure that this is the exact right way to do it but they have got to start somewhere.
I know one thing for sure, my kids will not be dealing with anything like I suffered while I was in school! I WILL PERSONALLY MAKE SURE OF THAT!”

Death threats are a very serious problem too Scot Hartline. Oh the hypocrisy.

Several other comments follow, but my quota of sadism is filled for the day. I hate giving this disgusting page and their minions attention but they have crossed a line when threatening myself and other wildlife advocates. I will be leaving the investigation of those threats to the proper authorities and all will be exposed.

Apparently those that operate that sick site seem to think that Melissa Smith or the other women they mentioned run this site. They do not. This site is run by a 14 year veteran of Law Enforcement, an Army Veteran, and someone highly knowledgeable about the law. I do not take death threats lightly from either side and they have been and will be reported to the proper authorities. Those behind sites like that hate page think they are immune from the law because they have the anonymity of the internet. We will see how long that lasts.

If anyone else is threatened or targeted by that page do not hesitate to report it to law enforcement. It is one thing to make sarcastic and ignorant comments it is quite another to threaten the lives of those you disagree with.

Here is a reminder for those that troll this site and leave hateful comments. Your IP address will be posted for the entire world to see and any death threats will be reported to law enforcement. Please DO NOT engage with the cretins that run and post on that page. They get off on the attention. Observe, document, report, and most of all DO NOT make threats against these people or call their workplaces. This does not do us any good and gives the anti-wolf sadists “ammo” to use against our side. Any person that cannot accept this has no place working with this group or other wildlife advocates. Do not expect any defense from me if you partake in these activities.

So Much for the “Respect” and “Tolerance” the DNR Says Exists for Wolves in Wisconsin

The Wisconsin wolf slaughter is up to 95 today. Over at the hate filled “Wisconsin Wolf Hunting” Facebook page they are celebrating, spreading the hate, and cheering on more wolf poaching. In fact they decided to make it personal today when they posted this about the wolf advocates that had the nerve to report a possible wolf poaching last year:

Wisconsin Wolf Hunting

Another photo shot for the Jamie Vee fan club from yesterday. Just a little shout out to Alice, Melissa and Cathy from the fine fans of the WWH fan page. We will turning that story over to a few bloggers and they will be running a story about all of this after the season is done with. Yeah we know what you three attempted to do with harassing people last year and this year . The majority hard core anti wolf hunters are nothing more then bunny huggers and whack job animal activists.

If readers do not remember the above mentioned person posted two snuff videos on YouTube showing the gleeful killing of a black wolf and a collared gray colored wolf. What followed was laughing about killing the wolves by the killers in the videos. The videos went viral and were reported to the DNR. In fact this is the response that was received from a DNR official in November 2012:

For your information the man who shot the radio collared wolf will be fined and the wolf was confiscated from him.  He was not legally licensed to trap wolves, in part because he had not taken trapper education classes.  We had tried to require training for anyone planning to trap wolves, but were unable to get special wolf trapping training that into the rules.  But all trappers need to have taken trapper education classes.  A major  part of trapper education programs are teaching people ethics of trapping and attempting to dispatch captured animals as humanely and quickly as possible.  Letting the wolf struggle in the trap while they were videoing it instead of just quickly euthanizing it certainly was not ethical.

We did provide voluntary training for wolf trapping and I would guess neither group took that class.  The first pair that commented about shooting the wolf in the face were certainly not ethical.   But a well-placed shot to the head can be an approved method of euthanasia approved by the American Medical Veterinary Association.  But putting it on a video, and making comments as they did certainly was not ethical.  I could not see well enough how well the shot was made to the head. Even with a well-placed shot into the brain, there still may be some residual muscle and nerve action after the animal was shot.

Thanks for bringing these to my attention.  They were not easy to watch.  It looks like at least 1 of these individual will end up getting fined.

Happy Thanksgiving

Of course as expected the charge was dropped due to what the District Attorney called “legislative interference.” So go ahead and “blog” all you want about this case. Be sure to interview the DA that prosecuted it so he can tell you all about that “legislative interference.” I am sure the public will just love to hear about it.;jsessionid=B173CFFC636E4AEF26494A1DB946F8D9.render6?caseNo=2012FO000321&countyNo=4&cacheId=67B9B7242E108FDCDFE3B1C271D0D055&recordCount=7&offset=1&mode=details&submit=View+Case+Details

And speaking of that disgusting hate page here is a smorgasbord of comments showing some of that “tolerance” and “respect” that the DNR and Patrick Durkin claim exists for wolves among Wisconsin “sportsmen.” Here are a few examples:

Erica Hana I love how these extremist liberals argue how protecting an animal that murders livestock with its face is a must. Shoot them all and make a nice duvee cover. Like · Reply · 5 minutes ago via mobile

No people kill them because they are a substitute for “libtards” and “tree huggers.”

Ashley Lynn Martin People in northern wisconsin cannot take their dog for a walk out in the country on trails because their dogs get attacked. People have gotten attacked going for walks. not everyone wants to walk the city. And they kill off all the deer population. If your not a hunter you dont understand. Or if you have not experienced this. You do not understand. People need to get over this already. Its much needed.

People being “attacked” huh? Proof?

Sound familiar? They say the same thing about Native Americans.

Brian Ryskoski My coonhound thanks you all. Keep smokin them!

RickMabry I really like the running total but scares me cause I have not got one yet, oh well more motivation!

Avery Fenne Hopefully some will be shot in Burnett County. Are deer population is extremely low and bear is way up. DNR needs to hand out a few more tags in NW WI.

Jerome Zondlo Wipe them off Wisconsin along with pit bull dogs.

Maureen Drinkman awesome!! less pups next year~!!!!

Chad Haucke We keep this up the IR deer herd is gunna prosper!!!!!!

Kyle Drinkwine About 10 miles from there now, watching the Wi badgers kick ass, love Wi, and love smoking a pack a day

Had enough of that “tolerance” and “respect” yet? It goes on and on and gets even more vile. Here are a couple of messages that Dane County Conservation Congress Delegate, and WE VOW friend, Melissa Smith, received today showing how women and Native Americans are also “tolerated” and “respected” in Wisconsin:

Brent Charles Go fuck yourself bitch

JB Brown: timbernigger

And last but not least the wolf hater that is disappointed that his dogs may not be able to “let my dogs rip the throat out of one of them”

Tolerant enough for you? There are literally thousands of comments like these on that page but Durkin and the DNR keep pretending that wolf hunters “respect” wolves. Sure they do. And for the enablers that run that hate page it would be a good idea to stop threatening and enabling those that harass wildlife advocates. You see Melissa Smith is an ELECTED official with the Conservation Congress and any threats or harassment will bring enhanced charges. You may want to consider that before spouting off or allowing your “readers” to harass or threaten her. Terroristic threats are not taken lightly these days. Just remember that. And I hope your “bloggers” have better grammar and spelling skills than you commenters do.

Wildlife advocates next time a DNR talking head or one of their propaganda mouthpieces like Patrick Durkin or Paul Smith talk about how much wolf “hunters” respect wolves just direct them to that disgusting page or the comment section of any story about wolves.
